Flor Salas

Office Manager

Meet Flor Salas she keeps the clinic running while providing exceptional customer care to patients.

After seeing her husband Edwin stress out for not being able to provide the care he knew individuals deserved and after seeing him question his profession she decided to support him and together started Positive Action Rehab & Performance.

Her award winning expertise in marketing and communications was the perfect combination to her husband’s physical therapy skills. Previously joining her husband full-time in the clinic, Salas served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas where she effectively communicated with media, parents, donors and the community. From 2012-2018 Salas worked for the City of San Antonio. She started as a Part-time intern at the San Antonio Fire Department Public Information Office (PIO) while completing her Master’s Degree in Digital and Strategic Communications from Texas State University.

Upon graduation in 2014, she served as the PIO for the City Department of Human Services and within a year promoted to Senior Public Information Officer with the City of San Antonio Public Works Department where she proactively developed and executed communications strategies that were crucial to advance the infrastructure in the City of San Antonio.

Salas obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Business from Our Lady of the Lake university in 2012. Salas is extremely enthusiastic about helping others feel better with holistic health as a result she obtained her Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in June 2022. She is also a proud Alumni of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Alexander Briseno Leadership Development Program (ABLDP) and the Latina Leadership Institute (LLI).

Salas enjoys working out at King William District CrossFit (especially beating her husband on the WOD’s), going on morning walks with her family along the riverwalk, and reading WW2 historical novels. Her favorite part of the day is cuddling and playing with her son Luciano.
