What should I expect during physical therapy sessions?

Physical therapy sessions last an hour with the option to stay 15 additional minutes after your session and use the recovery room

Do I need a referral from my doctor before attending Physical Therapy?

While a referral is often helpful, it is not always mandatory. You are welcome to contact us directly, and our team will assist you in initiating the process without any hassle.

What do I need to wear or bring with me?

It is advisable to wear comfortable attire that allows easy movement. Additionally, bringing any relevant medical records or diagnostic reports to your appointment can provide valuable insights for our team.

Is there anything I can do before my appointment to prepare?

Please complete your paperwork prior to your appointment. If you’re unable to do so, please arrive 15 prior to your appointment.

How long will my physical therapy sessions last?

The free evaluation takes between 20-30 minutes with the option to continue into a full treatment session. A typical treatment session lasts 60-75 minutes depending on your condition and the types of techniques used. Your physical therapist will give you an estimate when you first arrive for your appointment. To get started, simply call our office to schedule your free initial evaluation. Our team will guide you through the process and assist with any inquiries you may have

Are there any exercises I can do at home between appointments to help improve my condition?

Yes! Your physical therapist will provide an individualized plan of care through the clinic APP that includes exercises for you to perform between visits. It’s important to follow these carefully and communicate with your physical therapists if something feels not right and if you have any questions or concerns.

What if I have questions after my physical therapy session?

Your physical therapist is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your treatment plan through the clinic APP. You can also contact the clinic directly for further assistance. We want you to get the most out of every session!

Will insurance cover my physical therapy?

Positive Action intentionally chooses not to participate with insurance companies. This allows us to get you back to doing the things you love faster and better than you did before. This is how we do it:

  1. We treat our patients one-on-one for 1-hour long visits
  2. We provide you with individualized programing (NOT cookie cutter exercises that everyone does, everywhere they go) yielding better outcomes and much faster recovery than insurance based clinics.
  3. We provide much higher quality care with consistent progressions and 24/7 access to your physical therapist.
How often will I need to attend physical therapy sessions?

The frequency of your physical therapy sessions is determined by your personalized treatment plan and the nature of your condition. Our team will work closely with you to establish a schedule that optimally supports your recovery goals.

Can I use my HSA & FSA Funds?

Yes! you can use your HSA & FSA funds.

Absolutely! We would love to be a part of your recovery journey. Our team works with people of all walks of life, activity levels and ages—ranging from 8 to 90. We truly believe everyone is an athlete! It is all about the “Mindset.” We want to inspire you to live an active lifestyle. help you reach your goals, and get you back to the activities you love without any pain or limitations.

What happens after I finish my plan of care?

Most of our patients join the “Performance Care Club Membership” to continue to work with us proactively on a monthly basis. This gives our patients access to their doctor 24/7 through their APP and a solution to not have their performance be limited by future pains or mobility.
